Fabric
Denim fabric from innovation to production
Azgard9 develops and produces innovative denim fabrics for global brands. It starts with fabric R&D, where new constructions are developed, sustainable practices are explored, and efficient production methods are refined.
Ball Warping
Multiple yarn ends are assembled into uniform ropes with precise tension control, preparing them for consistent and efficient rope dyeing.
Fabric
Warp and weft yarns are precisely interlaced on high-speed looms to create durable denim fabric with consistent construction, texture and strength.
Rope Dyeing
Yarn ropes are repeatedly dipped in indigo and oxidized between cycles, creating deep, authentic colour with the distinctive ring-dyed character of denim.
Spinning
Advanced yarn spinning with responsible capacity
Azgard9’s LEED-certified spinning capability is designed around modern industry principles, renewable energy use and zero-waste focus, with technology to recycle spinning waste back into yarn.
48 million pounds of yarn capacity annually
40% of our energy needs met through renewable energy
State-of-the-art technology with advanced robotics
Weaving
Warp and weft yarns are precisely interlaced on high-speed looms to create durable fabric with consistent construction, strength and texture.
Carding
Cotton fibres are opened, cleaned and aligned into a continuous sliver, creating uniform material ready for the next stages of spinning.
Combing
Short fibres and remaining impurities are removed while fibres are further parallelised, producing a smoother, stronger and more uniform sliver for premium yarn.
